The newly developed hoisting system for the PUA579 low-profile scale is the ideal solution when strict hygiene requirements demand thorough cleaning.

The PUA579 series is characterized by its ease of cleaning and its EHEDG1 and GMP-conforming design.  This prevents potential sources of contamination. The scales do not require inaccessible cavities and are available in acid-proof V4A steel (AISI 316) with a ground surface and an average surface roughness of Ra < 1 μm.

The PUA579 low-profile scales have been tried and tested in hygienically sensitive areas.
No pit model is required. In addition, the scales can be easily integrated into your production process thanks to the easy to use “Plug&Weigh” interface.

Operation is simple: Unlock – lift the weighing platform – engage – ready to clean. Special gas-filled springs ensure that minimum physical effort is required when lifting and lowering the weighing platform. A well-designed locking system guarantees safety during cleaning and servicing work. In cooperation with the German TÜV certification body, the Steinbeis Transfer Center and the Munich University of Technology, the hoisting system meets the strict GMP and EHEDG hygiene and cleaning requirements.
These technical innovations have provided the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries with a safer, more efficient weighing solution.
