Moisture determination by thermogravimetric method - METTLER TOLEDO

Moisture determination by thermogravimetric method

Moisture determination
The thermogravimetic methods are the classical methods. For historical reasons, they are often part of the relevant legislation (regulations governing food etc.).
Thermogravimetric methods are suitable for practically all thermally stable substances with a moisture content >0.1%.

Total information
Thermogravimetric analysis determines mass changes as a function of temperatures. Temperature ranges, quantitative mass changes and their dynamics can be determined from room temperature to 1600 °C.

The TGA/SDTA851e provides
- Determination of moisture, water of crystallization and solvents
- Comprehensive information on temperature range, mass change and kinetics
- A defined gas atmosphere
- Minimal amounts of samples in mg range with highest resolution
- Availability of automatic sample change and result determination
